Rare visitors

I've lived in this area 25 years and had never seen wild turkeys here before. These were on someone's lawn just off a county road as I was heading to church this morning. I was able to stop my van, get out, and get several shots before another car came along.

What a great shot. I've seen them in the wild and they are very shy (hence I have no picture).

Wild turkeys rock. We have loads around my area, but I rarely see them. Maybe 6-8 times a year at max on the side of the road or something.
