Birds, Birds, Birds!

I have seen the fondness you folks have for birds and I had a chance to snap a few today when my wife and I were out shooting some pictures.

I call this guy George, and he was a friendly as can be. He walked right up to us and did a little dance, begging for some treats.

Then his girlfriend came up and joined in the fun,

Among the ducks, geese and seagulls, there was a lone swan, as graceful as the ducks were comical.

I saw these gulls sitting on a post, but the sky was so pale that it was washed out. I figured a little artistic lisence was called for.

And last, but not least, this probably should go in the people section, but she was just so cute I had to snap a picture (with her father's consent, of course)

Haha, the first one is very cute. Looks like one very happy duck. Interesting colors though. Red white and black? Too bad it doesn't have some blue. Then it'd be pretty patriotic huh? :-) The last one with the little girl is also very pretty. Great job on them all.

Thanks! He was a funny guy. Did a little dance, wagged his tailfeathers like a puppy. He reminded me of my Basset hound :D
