I don't know why I didn't post this last December...but late is better than never I hear...

I have an A95 and last December the LCD died...
I called Canon about trading it in (Canon has a program for trading up if your camera dies...) and what I could get for it...
When the techie tells me that there is an outstanding recall on the LCD and Canon would send me a shipping label to return it for repair/replacement...
which is what I did....which is what they did...for free...

That'd be the Service Notice for Canon PowerShot models (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=238911) that's stickied at the top of this forum.
