I think your title does no justice to this great shot.

Don't you like the game? Piggy in the middle. The pig is the odd one out, the isolated one. Thought that might relate to the lonely lady in the middle without a partner.
Maybe not.
I am open to suggestions.
Glad you like it though.:)

I like it a lot. And... I may be wrong about the title after all :)

OKAY... its bugged me for a whole day. Your right the title is ****e. So hows about this.

' The Others...Have Lovers'

Sometimes simple is beautiful. How about "Alone"

Hmmmm...I don't think she is alone. There are four other people in close proximity. I think it stays as ' The Others...Have Lovers' or,

' Girl On Night Bus Who Is Sitting Between Two Couples Who Are Absorbed With Each Others Every Move, Making Girl Look Forlorn And Lonely '

that phrase is not known outside of the uk. (or at least i've never heard it here in the us ;P). you might want to pick a title with a more global understanding.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I think it'll be untitled until I return to it in many years, older and wiser.

Me likes the first title.....but like Big B, I too am English. Shame other places don't know the name as it would make a great title if they did.

Smudge, although I cannot come up with a better title, ' The Others...Have Lovers' doesn't do it for me. But hey, thats just my opinion!!

Since they're in a vehicle, and there's a show with this name, and it means the odd person out; how about "The 5th wheel"?

The word Piggy and the image referencing a woman is politically incorrect here in the States.

dkord, you can't be serious. Not politically correct!!
Firstly, art ( not that I consider myself an artist) should be the last great bastion of political INCORRECTNESS.
Secondly, your statement suggests that if it was a guy, I could I call it ' Piggy In The Middle' and that would be fine.

You see thats the problem with poilitical correctness, it becomes almost impossible to draw the line anywhere. In short its stoopid.
Its the sentiment thats important. Intelligent adults should be able to assess the sentiment/intent before they judge. There are no good or bad words, just words.

The word Piggy and the image referencing a woman is politically incorrect here in the States. Actually, "Piggy..." isn't used here. "Pig" is/was. Not so much any more.
I'd thought of "Toad in the hole" just to keep the "English" cultural flavor going, but that has a whole 'nother image that I'd rather not think about! ;-)

How about simply "all by myself" or "I'm Ok you're OK"

Benuch
25th of April 2005 (Mon), 11:01
or you might want to focus on the fact that you have all situations coverd.
On the left, the couple seem to be upset, in the middle alone and OK and to the right the lovers. the title...."All in one" or "state of affairs" or "Uncommited" ot "The Commitments"

Great shot. As for a title, how about "The Gooseberry". Don't know if this is just a UK saying though.

smudge

Now Gooseberry, I like. Reminds of being a kid. We would always say that when we all hung out together and one of us didn't have a girlfriend. " ...Oh I'm going home, I don't wanna be the gooseberry..."
Great memories, thanks for that blast from the past.
Actually not so great, I seem to remember that I was more often than not the said gooseberry...
