Here are some pics, my camera is a Canon Power ShotSX100 IS. It was set to Kids and Pets, ISO was on auto and was on continuous. Any help as to what setting to use would be greatly apperciated, Most pics turned out but I know they can be better. Now I know I am not going to get every pic perfect, with people throwing there hands up and with the trucks being close then far but any help with setting would be helpful

My guess is you were shooting in an areana, at night under the lights with a point and shoot from a considerable distance, looks like you did pretty dang good to me taking all that into consideration. You got some pretty good shots!

actually it was outdoors at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas and if a canon powershotSX100 is a point and shoot then yes, and as for distance i tried to zoom enough that the close shots werent to close and far shot werent to far away, thanks for the compliment

Yeah they are pretty decent for a P/S. Try next time Av mode (unless these are Av mode :( )

Excellent photos! I am an amateur and am looking to buy myself a new camera. Any recommendations?

I have a few of the SX100 cameras at the school. Considering the camera and the conditions you were shooting in, I'd be very happy with the quality of shots you were able to get. Are they perfect? No, but they are pretty darn nice.

Sorry, forgot to post this:
In the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=74718) only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.

Yes, I would have to agree with Jon on this one but to me, they were so close to being perfect~!
Nice Job!
