I love what HDR does to clouds. These are 6 shot renders in Photomatix.

Great clouds. Wish you had been closer to the trees in #2

I couldn't get much closer to the trees and still shoot that angle. There was a boat ramp between me and the trees. :)
Is that a new Aurora shot in your Avatar? Missed that one I think.

Well, then you should have gotten your feet wet :)
That was this seasons most viewed picture of mine at Flickr.
I also posted it here at POTN

Wow, that's a really nice one, especially with snow on the mountains. Great shot, looks like a comet.

number 1 would be even more awesome if you had more of that tree on the right corner

Thanks Charlie. I was stopped in the middle of the road to take that shot out the window. There wasn't much else I could do to compose it at that point. The sky was changing fast. :)

Those clouds really jump out; you are getting to be a master at HDR.

Thanks CameraBuff. They should hopefully get better. I just pulled the trigger on a used MkIIn, which can shoot 7 shot AEB at 8.3 frames a second. One of the ultimate HDR cameras.

Thanks Wolfden. That whole day was good for strange cloud formations. Usually it's just dull gray here. :)

Thanks. Been wanting one of these for more than two years now. Finally getting close. Can't wait til it gets here. :)

Thanks Jeff. Not sure why I got into playing with HDR, but I have always loved what Photomatix does to a good cloudy sky. :)

From the looks of it you took the bird shots as far as you could for the present ( WOW, what a masterpiece collection, many once in a lifetime shots) and just needed something a little different to master - to change things up a bit.

HAHA, took the birdies as far as I could, with a 40D. Got a MkIIn coming by end of next week and I can start all over again. ;)
Oh, forgot, if you looked at my slideshow pages, all of those shots are at least a year old. I think it's been at least that long since I updated it. :)
