one of the best of this structure i've seen; partly because there are no people in the way. Was it like this or are they cloned out?

Thanks, we arrived early prior to sunrise; some of the guys were able to get night shots. Only us photogs from POTN and the security guards on site. I think that is Chris on the far right taking a break from shooting.

Great looking shot. I have never been there, but seen a lot of shots of it. Why no shots of inside or under it? Isn't it open to people?

Lol, I wanted to get there when it was still dark out to get some night shots but by the time I parked and found my way there the sun was rising. It seems to rise super fast when you are trying to take photos.

they're all great.. i would just crop out the guy in the first shot. I've been here and during the day you can never get a shot like this.. the place gets mobbed

First time I see this bean in HDR! That's really great! Did you shoot it with a tripod and brackets or make it from one RAW-file?

Thank's - These were taken with a tripod and 3 shots bracketed +2, 0 and -2. If you want to see some even nicer check out the POTN Members Activities section and look under Anything for Chicago. Starting on page seven; there are even some nice night HDR shots of the bean by other guys from the meet up.
