Cropping on magazine?

Hey, I recently delivered some pictures that are going to be used in the fashion part of the magazine, and recently got an massive mail to all personal showing few of the arts for the magazine, those pictures where going to be printed in 8x11 (full page) .. but I found out that the designer cropped few of the pictures, some of them, he took away the arms and legs on full body just to emphasize on the body... is this allowed?

If you gave them the rights to use your images, then yes. It may not be to your liking, but it's their magazine.

One of the challenges of using the your images in different media is that they may require cropping or editing for size or style. Until you publish your own magazine, you should get used to collaborating with other creative people in the publishing industry, and understand their role in the final product. The good news is that sometimes they may even improve your work.
