How many people are using the Aputure Timer remotes? We just picked up a couple and noticed that once the battery is installed the display stays on continuously. The manual says there isn't a on/off switch. So, I'm wondering how long the battery will last in these things if left in the remote? It would be kind of a hassle to install and remove a battery every time you used it.

I've had one for around 6 months and I'm still on the original battery. Them LCD displays don't use a lot of power.

6months and still going? I guess that's ok... I'm going to have a hard time getting over the fact they are always on though...
Happy retirement too Frank!

Because it's always on the 'lock' button is quite important. Otherwise it's easy to set it off while it's in your bag. The people start looking around trying to locate the annoying, repetitive, 'beep'.
Happy retirement too Frank!
Thanks, I'm still waiting for boredom to set in. But so far I can't figure out how I ever found the time for work!

Oh ya... The lock feature could come in handy there eh? Good tip. Thanks.
