Many people load the pictures to a different site like Flickr, then link to the pictures using these codes...
1.
paste your link here
2.
next picture link
3.
...and so on. The goes before, and the goes after. Flickr.com is not the only site you can use to host your pics, but it's free and it'll do. Once you upload your picture to Flickr; click on it, then click "all sizes" and look right below the picture for the URL link. That URL link is what you copy and paste between the and tags on POTN.

You're shooting at f/2.8 - this is great for stopping the action but means that you have a very small range of distances that look in focus - i.e. a short depth of field.
I would try using a narrower aperture - say f/5.6 - and if you feel that the shutter speed is too slow, increase the ISO to get the speed back up again. I don't know how fast you need for pole valut!
The other thing is that you're shooting straight into that bright sky. So the camera meters for the sky. But as a viewer I'm more interested in the person, so I'd rather you exposed for the person even if that meant "blowing out" the sky somewhat. So I would suggest +1/3 EV of exposure compensation. That should let us see much more detail of the fellow doing the vaulting

John, thanks for telling me how to upload pics, and Alan thanks for giving me some tips on how to shoot better. I'll try to do what you recommend.
