Lens rebate vouchers - has anyone used them

Noticed that lens rebate vouchers are appearing on eBay. As I'm on the verge of buying a 300mm f4 IS, should I buy a £100 rebate voucher on eBay for a couple of £10 or £20?

Has anyone done this before?

I have one and will send it to you (not for £20, not for £10, but for nout) as I've more chance of riding a grand national winner (and I'm over 15 stone!), than being able to afford one myself.

If I can save you £100 at no cost to myself, apart from a stamp, then I am more than happy. The money is only the icing on the cake – getting the lens must feel like christmas.

To everyone else ... you can also order the vouchers yourself via the Canon website.... even if you have NOT just now bought a camera :D

At least it worked for me (in Germany) ... 50 EUR on the 420EX, here I come 8)
WAIT! :shock: Who put that EUR 100 on 70-200/4.0 voucher in there?

Just a little note on this subject, if anyone out there is contemplating buying a voucher on Ebay - DON'T DO IT!!!

If you want them you can get them FREE direct from Canon at http://www.canonextrapromotion.com/faq.aspx - just scroll to the bottom of the FAQ page and fill in your name and address. I did and got my vouchers in less than a week.

It sickens me that people are falling for these Ebay scammers who are making money out of the unwary.
