The LCD display in all Canon DSLRs is already protected by a very tough plastic window (it's what you can put your finger on). You do not need any additional "protector" for the Canon LCD protector.

The original Canon LCD protector can be replaced for about $20 and a little of your time if you somehow manage to damage the original.

LIke Skip said - save your money. If you manage to scratch the Canon LCD cover, which isn't easy, it's an inexpensive and easy replacement process. I've got extensive "brassing" on my older cameras, but the original LCDs are just fine.

That is the plastic screen. The LCD is behind it. The plastic screen is set flush into the body and anchored with double-stick tape. It doesn't sit on top of the LCD like after-market (or Nikon) LCD covers do. But it'll pull off (possibly needing a gentle warming to soften the adhesive) with a suction cup when needed.
