I already have a 50mm f1.8. I'm a college student so funds are rather limited, and I'm also a beginner. Which lenses are a great buy for under $200? I was looking at a Sigma 28-135, what do you guys think? Or a 55-200?

I'd pay someone to steal a 70-200L IS lens.

If not,, the 28mm is a nice choice.

go to your local shop and look for used lenses...i got a promaster 28-105mm (made by tamron) for $100...basically it replaced the 35-80 canon that i got with my film rebel...i dont think its the sharpest thing out there but the zoom range is nice and it takes pretty good pics for $100...here is a sample
