...from the bottom of the page in a thread to the top quickly without scrolling manually?
I can't see it if it is there, and I find myself wanting to do it a lot.

Pressing the Home and End buttons will get you to the top and bottom of the thread/list quickly.

Pete's way is the easiest.
followed by "page up" & "page down"
and there's always the trusty "top" button.

Yep, but it's pretty tricky to hit that button sometimes.
Personally, I have a mouse with a wheel on a fairly sensitive setting. A quick flip with the finger and it just flies up and down the page....

My word...so that's what they're for! I never did get the hang of those :oops:

Just in case you're on a mac, and I know Mike likes to know all the mac commands, there's CMD-UP and CMD-DOWN ;)

Load the setpoint software that comes with it.
(you can also get it from the logitech website).
It lets you store profiles on the computer and then uses application detection to load each profile for different programs.
For example in LR the left right tilt now switches between the library and develop modules.
It is not the easiest bit of software to use, but once you figure it out, it is lots of fun.
You can also store profiles in the mouse, I used to have one saved so I could take the mouse to my last job and use it with firefox and have all the buttons work in Linux.
