Sunday turned out to be a beautiful day here in Chicago so we decided to head over to Brookfield Zoo where the animals seemed to be enjoying the nice weather as well.

Looks like the bears are having a fine time. I like how you captured the water splashing.

Thanks mrclark321, TammieO.
To capture the water splashes I just used a fast shutter and watched the bears for a while and waited for them to splash or shake which didn't take very long.

Great shots - guess they wanted to keep cool.
PS You must be looking forward to the new Hitchhikers film.

Thanks! Yes I am, although I've actually had this signature since last year. I'm very fond of D.A.'s writing, he cracks me up. I'll have to wait and see, but hopefully the movie will do it justice.

I was there on Saturday. The young polar bear was on his own having a wild time destroying some bits of plastic. It's a great place for wandering around, not least because you don't get crowded, even when it is busy. Shame the wolves were so unwilling to be taken.

I love the Wolf Woods exhibit now though! It's so much nicer than their last wolf exhibit. Sunday the wolves were all lounging in the sun on the rocks, although I wasn't able to get anything that I really liked.
