Brands wasn't the only one lurking around Gurston Down on Saturday. Here are some of my shots from the climb.

A transparent 340R? Interesting!
I'm liking the shots of the #85 Escort.
Up to your usual standards Glenn.

Superb shots Glenn. #5 is excellent. Those Austins might not be the quickest, but the drivers really throw them about.
Cheers,
Simon.

Thanks guys,
Andy - the Lotus is down in the programme as a "Lotus Expose" - a one off "concept" apparently.

What amazes me is how much money and time people will put into building a car just to do three sixty or so second runs per meeting. Three minutes a meeting, maybe half a dozen meetings a year. I know some who have spent nearly $100,000 or £60,000 on a car for so little use. For £60K I could run three formula fords for a full season in the nationals, and have a lot more fun.
Nice shots Glenn. I have covered Harewood the last couple of years, but apart from the one day already done, I am not bothering to do it again. Very lucrative territory unless you get the 50 pence a print merchants that we have up here.

Thanks Ken. 50p a print? Do they do "wanted posters" as well? If they're selling for that little even they can't think much of their own work.
I can't see me shooting many more hillclimbs this year, but it was interesting.

Great captures of some wild looking machines.
I agree Ken, hill climbers are a different breed.

Excellent shots as usual Cadwell.....I think I might have another lurk later in the season if I have a spare day.

All great shots Cadwell, have to admit that Lotus does look a bit weird.
Cheers

Thanks Ian.
Brands, I suppose I could be tempted down there for another outing... the fryup breakfast was OK. 18th/19th June looks sort of free on the calendar...

Absolutly brilliant shots Cadwell,
I`ve just had a look at the main gallery with more good quality pictures, One thing I have notice is that I must put a couple of extra psi in the front tyres next time:D

Fantastic shots Cadwell.
Bit of a competitor myself. Been at Harewood since '98 when I started out in my black impreza !
Had a UR-quattro years ago so I love seeing the old motors being campaigned in anger so I love the shot of the Audi :)
Cheers

The Audi looked like this a couple of years ago after going off at Karousel at Gurston.
