I just purchased an S30 and I am having problems installing it. I follow all the directions word for word and my computer recognizes the camera when it is plugged in and asks me to choose what program to use with it. I selected Zoombrowser and the programs starts everytime I plug the camera in; however, the program is unable to communicate with the camera to see what photos are on it, and to transfer them over.

What is the full error message that you receive?

It says something about the camera being busy or being used by another program, which is obviously not the case.

Hi Setho212,

I don't know if this will be of any use to you. I used it to help get ZoomBrowser to recognise my camera.

SELECTING A DEVICE...

1. Click on the START button.

2. Go to Programs, Canon Utilities, ZoomBrowser EX and click on it.

3. When ZoomBrowser EX comes up on screen, click on File, Import
Images, From Canon Camera and below it says Select Source. Use the
Select Source if you have more than one USB device connected to your
computer.

4. A list of the devices you have connected will appear, scroll
down through them and click on the one you want to use. Click on OK.
