Has anyone experienced bad CF card or bad CF readers? Which brands?
1. What are good reliable brands that I should stick with. Please list some.
So far, I only experienced 1 really bad LEXAR 128MB where the card is totally unreadable. Fortunately customer service was excellent and got it replaced.
I am currently using Lexar 1GB 80X Professional. is there anything better?
2. Faulty CF Card reader. Had anyone come across one? This week, what scared me was I came across a faulty CF reader (ACOM Data). I originally thought that all my photos taken were toast because the images contained massive amount of noise and missing part of it. What's strange is that for example, you can copy the JPG images to the hard drive and can open it. once opened, either the colour is all red or has lines across it. Fortunately I had other CF readers and was able to copy the files over.
3. Is there any EASY TO USE, image restoring software?
