love dog shots, but ive got to say that they seem underexposed, as well as out of focus a bit. do you have a flash? increasing the shutter speed and lowering the f stop might help.

Thanks for the criticism. Im new to photography so still learning everything. I have a flash but as well Im still trying to learn how to use that. Im going to be taking some classes soon. Sorry to all if this was a waste of a thread.

not at all! the forums here are a great place to learn! what you might want to do is read a few books on photography (understanding exposure - is a great book) and take as many pictures as you can. familiarize yourself with the camera, learn the controls and how to navigate.
