What do you use? Personally, I find manual too fiddly. I'll go P-mode and adjust exposure / aperture as necessary. Also - I don't do much PP so JPG quality 9 does the job...

RAW exclusively as i like to have complete control of everything (only time that changes is when the lighting is changing dramatically)

RAW and Manual 95% of the time, if I shoot sports I'll go JPEG and use manual or sometimes Av.

I still do mostly JPEG. I have been doing more RAW and manual mode. It was that I only used RAW when I was trying to do some HDR stuff.

Raw and manual about 98% of the time.

I really like AV for the most part and manual mode next.
If shutter speed is most important I will use TV.
AV, M, and TV are about all I use.
I shoot jpeg for most stuff (especially when they need the pictures real quick) and RAW when it really matters.
For me large jpegs from my 40D with just a little post processing turn out nice images.
Many of the complaints I hear is how long it takes to get the pictures from the photographer.
I can shoot 400 images at a bluegrass festival in jpeg, cull out about 100, do a little post, and have the pictures ready the next day.
So far I have not got any complaints.
RAW is better but it takes time to process a lot of RAW images.
