Hey all,
I was a lucky recipient of an Ixus v2 over Christmas and have just been trying to install the software on my work PC! Only one problem I don't have administrator rights on my PC and with NT 4 it is creating havoc. I tried to download the TWAIN driver which will be sufficient for me to get my images off the camera and into MS Photo Editor but everytime I try to install it I receive the following error:

"Twain Driver file for Windows 95/NT not found.
Click [Ok] to cancel the installation."

Can anyone advise on why this is happening? I can't find a thing about it on the web...... Any help would be greatly appreciated.

oh and by the way the camera kicks butt. Great photos and I'm loving the manual mode.

Thanks
JOsh

Are you using a USB cable to connect your camera? NT4 does not support USB without non-Microsoft patches such as:
http://store.bsquare.com/catalog/index.cfm?fuseaction=catalog&parent_id=127
Which, however, does not support scanners or cameras, but a card reader should work

Edit: I assume you mean the RS-232C TWAIN drivers. You answered your own question by saying that you don't have admin rights. Without being an admin or power user, you don't have the ability to install software that interacs with hardware.

Thanks for the quick response. Guess I'll have to find another PC to install on!!!
