So this was my first try shooting boxing and it was a heck of a challenge. The lighting at this place was terrible. I was at 3200 ISO, f/2.8, 1/320 most of the night and was still coming up dark. Anyways it was alot of fun and i managed to get some ok shots. Would love to shoot something similar again but hopefully w/better light!

I know the feeling. Build up your portfolio shooting where you can, make the most with what you're given, and when you're called up to the big events, you'll be prepared. Personally, I've learned far more in working in less than ideal conditions than I have working under PPV lighting. Obviously the tv lighting gets better results, but if you were hand fed ideal shooting conditions, you'd be ill prepared for how most non-televised events are actually light.
