i'm sure i'll find it as i read this sub-forum more. but, how does one get started in the profession? (not saying i want to, just curious)
of course, i love the hobby. of course, i know its difficult to buy mac'n'cheese on a beginner's ransom. of course, i know "stock photography" is random, at best, until you have tens of thousands of shots circulating about.
i assume the web has helped a lot. but, i dont know the first thing about websites, and/or costs associated with setting them up. i dont even know how to copyright my limited stuff.
but, i do think it would be cool to have some stuff "out there," just in case someone actually wanted to buy a pic of mine.
can anyone point me in a decent direction towards getting started so i know better what to expect? many thanks for any help.
i just think having a "hobby"/passion that pays even a little would be more productive than sitting in front of a television.
