Shot Sawyer Brown last week for the second time. Lots of energy! While I don't think they've had a hit in ten years their show is good and sucks the crowd right in.

#1 Obligatory collage

#2 Mark Miller never slows down, ever dancing, jumping, fooling with the other members of the band.

#3 I believe this is Shayne Hill

Thanks, Roman. Last time they were here the lighting was better and they interacted more tightly as a group giving much better captures.

Many fantastic shots... #4 is awesome.

Their music is all my classmates talk about at our HS reunions.... Our 40th, will probably be another blast, this year.

Dwight, I may attempt to steal your collage idea one of these days. They are always superb. However, my photoshopping knowledge is limited to corrective adjustments. We'll see.

Solid set as usual! Band looks like they are having fun.

You're only up to 40th? I don't even remember my high school friends, either of them. :-( Just kidding, but the ten or so I have contacted are just too busy with their lives.

Doing the collages was an accident of happenstance ... but it has set me apart from most everybody else since I think I am the only one who does it ... and for every event, so I have a couple of hundred of them! People recognize them.

Either of them? Ouch, that hurts... Your *funnies* are real killers... Maybe some of that *Don Rickles* humor, is rubbing off on you.

On the positive side... The ten you did contact should really see you now... They don't know what they are missing... A show at the casino... Western sunsets... and the fun of photography...

I might just go to our 40th, just to chat about photography... There are some NYC/metro area pros in the bunch... there will also be contacts from Rolling Stone Mag, Movie stars/TV celebs, musicians... old hippies... and like the previous reunion, I'll have the chore of taking most of the pictures and mailing them all out to the ol' buds...

Getting back to your photos from this show... the colors and action are great... Cheers.

I will echo the comment about the light. Looks like what us mortals have to deal with all too often. 2 and 3 are my favorites.

Yeah, I hate doing the mortal thing! :-)

Thank you.

Nice set, Dwight. Not sure what to think of #4 though. The left (his left) arm is quite distracting and strange.

Well, thank you, Anouk ... hmmm, yes, #4 ... I wanted that face but felt I needed the arm/hand to give it context ... it is very, very typical of him to put his arms/hands straight out while dancing around and he is most well known for his dancing around. Part of their gear is a long pad that runs across the front of the stage and is then sprinkled with baby powder (or something very similar) for him to dance on.
