i Currently have Photoshop elements 6 for mac.... are there any other programs that are fairly simple, or something that i could catch onto without taking a class

Hi, 360!
I think you will like Lightroom 2, very fast and easy to use.
Aperture 2 is also very good, but I find Lr has greater depth and
flexibility. Also consider PaintShop Pro, or freeware like Picasa or Gimp,
though these won't give you more than Elements offers.

Hello, I think Aperture 2 with the Nik Software plug-ins are by far more user friendly then Adobe anything IMO.

wheels55, I would have agreed with you before LR 2 came out, but now
Lightroom 2.3 is a killer app - my CS4 bundle is getting lonely!

That would be photoshop elements 6, which you already have

If your finding it difficult to get your head around then have a look at some of the adobe help pages and introduction tutorials: http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshopelements/

lightroom 2 is by far the best post-processing program I've used on my mac, or any computer at that. It's completely user friendly, and furthrmore has the depth and advanced features if needed.

I find it 100% nicer to use than Aperture.
