Hello everyone! I am enrolled in an internship class at Edmonds Community College and for an assignment we need to ask a few questions to professionals in the field we are interested in after school.

Please let me know if this is your main source of income and the name of your company as this is required by the class. If this is just a hobby I would love to hear from you too!

How long have you been doing photography?

Why do you do it?

What did you do before you started photographing?

What inspired you to get started?

What is your favorite thing to shoot?

What was your first "big break"?

What other photographers do you look to for inspiration?

What do you do to get out of a "creative slump"?

If you weren't a photographer what would your other job be?

Do you have any advice for someone trying to get into the field?

Thank you for your time!

This is just a hobby, but Delaware River Tubing, Inc is going to hire me and will pay for equipment as long as I shoot free for them.

How long have you been doing photography?

6 months

Why do you do it?

sense of freedom, enjoyment. i love being a part of POTN ;P. in all honesty, it makes each day that much better.

What did you do before you started photographing?

I worked as a manager for a small firm. I still do actually. Also funny enough, a large video and camera shop offered me a full time position literally 3 months before i got into it. kinda disappointing i turned down the job.

What inspired you to get started?

Just wanted to try something new.

What is your favorite thing to shoot?

Portraits.. people.

What was your first "big break"?

being able to afford the 5d2. selling my work to afford some lenses.

What other photographers do you look to for inspiration?

no one really. i do love canon if that helps.

What do you do to get out of a "creative slump"?

i shoot things i normally dont shoot. i.e. buildings or landscapes. im not too good at shooting those but i usually add some twist to it.

If you weren't a photographer what would your other job be?

a manager at a small firm.

Do you have any advice for someone trying to get into the field?
