Nothing like crawling into old cars and trying to take a picture, but it was a fun time.

Man those really bring back some memories. Those cars must have some memories I'll bet. That middle one makes me want to turn that radio and see what comes out. Those are the type of image I would like to get eventually, but all I ever seem to get is images with a slightlier better dynamic range.
They lack all the magic yours have.Magic that transgresses time itself almost. It was in one of Bruce Springsteens songs called Growin up that suits these images very well "I swear I found the key to the universe in the engine of an old parked car. ..."
Great images !

Thanks!
Photomatix is just the first step in the HDR process, I also use Adobe Camera Raw and Photoshop. Photomatix gets the first round at the picture, than the picture goes into Camera Raw for some tweaking and than into Photoshop where it is processed again.

Memory lane for me too. Great work here, with keeping the halos at bay, just great. :)

Nice shots! Where did you find these....farmer's field? Junk yard? Uncle Fred's house? Just curious.

Thanks,
The cars are actually at an abandoned farm we hunt at. They are just sitting out in trees, been there many many years

Really great. Rust is the best friend with HDR :) Really brings out the color.
