Kingfishers First post from me

Hi guys, Hope I am in the right section as just signed up on here.

I have added - I hope - some Kingfisher pictures.

I have a boat on the Norfolk Broads in the UK and spen days out there with my 5D and 100 - 400 IS L tele.

I will post a few picture here but if I am in the wrong place then please let me know.

Both are very nice captures. #1 is front focusing a bit, head is spot on but feet are soft. #2 is spot on with the wider f/stop.

This is a good place. The birds section is, as well. However, the people on the birds section are much, much more active than the folks over here in wildlife. This means that once you post something, if it is in birds it will probably be long forgotten about within just a day or two. Post something here and it tends to stay around quite a bit longer. Personally, I don't want to create a thread only to have it buried on page 3 or 4 within a couple days.
