Wow, that's a big building! I'm sorry to say it does nothing for me - to me it's more a snap that anyone could do with a point and shoot a work of art.

I like them! I do like the first one, the perspective with the statue at the front with the path leading behind looks good. You could try flipping the image vertically (I know it's not the real scene) because the statue may be a better lead in line from the left.
Also, your work on the sky in the first shot, did you replace it or did you increase the saturation or the levels/curves? There is a light "halo" around the whole of the horizon, the building in the distance and the statue. It shows an obvious PS work or similar. Apologies if taken as is.
The lighting isn't too bad, although a little harsh for me. I guess it was shot near mid day? The shadows don't come out too well on the statue because of the angle of the sun. Coming back later, maybe just before sunset would be a good time if you were facing east.
Keep trying, these are still good shots.

I used shadow/highlight in PS to improve the shadow, I think I used it excessively. Thanks for the comments.
