I need help with my PP.... I am trying to learn how to make the pictures pop...

I took these yesterday of my friend's kids. I shot in raw using my 40D and nifty 50 and my 60mm 2.8.

Any C & C is welcome... I am posting because I want to improve on my photopgraphy. Also, suggestions on post processing in CS3 is also greatly appreciated

The second picture looks like a snapshot I know.... It was the end of the shoot and the one little girl stopped cooperating so I we just took what we could get. I am hoping I might be able to do something in PP to improve the look of this one.

Thanks again!

Cute kids. :)
Your white balance is off, they look very green. Should be easy to fix with RAW though.

Thanks... that looks great. It looks like it is brighter and the white balance is different. Is that what you did?

I boosted it in curves and increased the saturation. also cloned a couple of spots etc.
