Went to Crystal Cove in Laguna Beach, CA to practice using a Calumet View Camera for the first time. Of course I had to bring my new 20D along with me to get to know it. This is one of the first landscape pics I've taken with it so far. It was really dark yet beautiful that evening. About twenty minutes before taking this picture a group of dolphins came swimming up at the shore. Like out of a movie.

Sorry, but are those dust spots on the sensor?

yea..i dont know what those are. I highly doubt they would be dust spots on the sensor as the camera is about 2 weeks old. Whatever it is, it for some reason only showed up on this pic and its making me angry.

Regardless of dust spots, this is a beautiful picture :-)

Nice shot. I used to have a Calumet-Gowland 4x5. It was a great little backpacking view camera.

Brings back memories of 15 months ago when I was there - better weather though but this weather does make a damn fine image.
