I have only done 1 wedding before and it was for my best friend so there was no pay involved. Because this was my best friend, I put in A LOT of time in PP to make sure every single picture looked it's best. In this case, I chose the pictures my self and made the album as a surprise for her. I now have a potential wedding coming up and in coming up with how much to charge, I need to know how do you process your photos to present to them? Do you just use Light room and adjust some settings globaly such as brightness, contrast, color balance?
This potential wedding, she just needs a photographer for 2 hours and wants the pictures on a CD. How "edited" should these photos be? I will give her the option of selecting certain photos for "Glamourizing" for an additional fee. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Depends what you mean by PP.
I go through all my images in Lightroom and weed out the best. I do what ever minor PP is needed and I export to photoshop to clean up their faces if necessary but thats it.
I will tell you though, when I first started I would only have 2-3 weddings a month so I would spend crazy time making every picture as best as it could be. Now that I have between 5 and 8 weddings a month things are much different.
If I can give you any advice it would be, make sure you do everything possible to get your exposure correct the first time. When used to always shoot one camera with no flash and high ISO but some of these places were so dark I would have to stop the exposure way down to get a usable shutter speed then I would have to do a ton of PP.

Thanks for the reply. Better straight out of camera pictures is what I've been practicing for. I also now have a Lightsphere which I know will help immensely.

Sorry, I don't know brand names. Diffusers are good. and bouncing flashes are really good when you have something to bounce off of.
