good luck .. :) i was just @ the shop and got me a Canon 50MM f/1.8 for portraits. I was about to buy the exact 105mm f/2.8, BUT too expensive for me at this time so ill get my hands on extension tubes and use it on the 50 for macro ! so wish me luck too ;)

I just got the Sigma 105mm EX DG macro myself. I must say, its quite nice. I kind of don't like that AF on it, but M is so easy and quick to do.
