Just got a new Sony VAIO with Win XP.

Loaded ZB4 fine, WIA drivers loaded OK on restart 7 worked fine, but on re-starting the machine again the Canon drivers had been replaced by the MS driver for the camera & now ZB (and Remote capture) won't see it!

Tried re-loading the drivers as per Canon instructions in manual, but XP won't let me load them.

Also have loaded earlier WIA drivers as we have a PS300 & Pro90 also, maybe this is the issue?

Anyone else out there had this problem?

I am not sure if this is the case, but Win2k/XP do not like to install drivers that have not been tested by MS. Are you agreeing to install the drivers even though "they have not been digitally signed by MS?"

You can always force WinXP to use the drivers you specify. Plug in your camera, right click My Computer>Manage, Select Device Manager>Imaging Devices, right click on your camera, select Update driver, and choose Choose driver from a location (Advanced). Then point the install wizard to the location of your driver install files and follow the directions.
