Dakak at Dusk

Went for a short vacation at Dakak Park and Beach Resort at Dipolog, Philippines. Wanted to get sunset shots so I waited for some time for the sun to go down. Lo! The mountain hid the setting sun!!!

But the setting sun added beauty to the colors of the sky. Took this pic instead... ;)

did you focus on the tree's on purpose?

its a weird shot in my opinion the sand doesnt seem to go with the colour of the sky/sea

but i like it in a weird way :)

hehehe! Thanks everyone...

I wanted to use the trees to frame the horizon. Took two shots of it. The other shot have the trees as a silhouette. Focusing on the trees gave a greater impact and added "weirdness" (borrowing monkey_wrench words) to it... ;)
