This is a 5 exposure shot, -2/-1/0/1/2

my favorite is just the -2/2, 3 exposure. I like the warm evening colors in it.

I myself would of gotten a closer shot of the building to produce a better HDR photo. A brick building would produce a wonderful HDR image vs. a wide angle shot with no details to bring out.

I really think you can take this one a bit further, but it depends on how far and what you want it to look like. What program are you using?
I do think it has lots of potential.
If increased dynamic range were a 1 and the surreal look were a 10,where would you like your image to be?
I have that problem myself sometime, just don't know what i want it to be.
isn't there supposed to be certain question you ask yourself about what you want the image to represent?maybe someone can chime in here with that one.
I'm trying to learn HDR as well, and I'm using the trial version of Photomatix,so ask any questions you like,I would be more than happy to try and help.

Wolf, thanks for the input, I will have to try getting in closer. I knew from where I was it would be too much grass or two much sky, so I went in the middle and I didnt have time before the CSX police came and told me I was trespassing.
Smooth, I am currently using photomatix, never played around with it until the other day really. On your scale I would have to say It doesnt both me either way, I like both ends of the spectrum, and I like to play around with sliders alot :-D, The right place and the right time I would like to get some funky looking HDR, but I would have to say my favorite part of hdr is getting great images without someone knowing its hdr. So i hope that answers your questions.
Im pretty new to photography so Half the photos I take really have nothing to represent, but I like to play around, and always trying new things in broaden my skills overall.
