Hey again guys. I know there was a monopod thread a week or two ago made by me. That was to decide what head I'd buy, and the verdict is the 234RC2.
Now my question is, for impromptu group shots with me inside the picture, would this setup do? Obviously I won't set the monopod plus camera up too high so that the CG gets shifted all the way up, but I find myself needing to do such shots very often during shoots where a monopod would help and a tripod would just make me look plain silly (and be equality less convenient).
My heaviest load atop it would be a gripped 400D + wide angle lens + flash + attached radio remote.
