Lighting is a little too harsh.
Camera is a little too close, move it away and zoom in to get same composition.

Nice light, but there is a bit of distortion on your nose from the wide focal lenght. Like 4walls said it would be better at 40 or 50 mm, unless you want the distorted look, in which case it's perfect and disregard the previous sentences.

I've looked again :)
Is there a posibility to post the original one ? It seems to me slighty over-sharpen especially in the eyes area.
And you have pretty eyes, you don't have to sharp more ! ;)

No, I agree... I'll try to do the same with Ana, let's see if I can make that picture better and with no distortion.

Since I was just playing with the light, I deleted the original image and just kept the small copy (I know... dumb LOL)... But I can try to do a better one later. ;)

I cant take a self portrait. I feel like an idiot when I do and it shows!

Great one Fer. Love the lighting. Makes a great Avatar too.

I like everything about the shot, but I don't like it as your avatar. My reasoning being that when cropped for the avatar the hand just looks strange. Where as in the full frame being able to see the rest of your arm makes the whole pose work nicely.

Think so?... Hmmm... maybe I should make a new avatar ;)

your avatar is way better than mine. i don't even remember what's that in my background. I, not you, should go and shoot a new one. :)

Please take no offense. For greater attention-grabbing shot – up it a notch – same frame but do away with the strap over your right shoulder – I’m not suggesting anything except composition. I agree with the masses subject very appealing to the eye – you have a adoring audience.

Nice bold image. The disconected hand does look a little odd though.

Ever seen the movie Evil Dead 2 with the possessed hand? :)
