5d mark III ?

Hi,

I've seen threads that set expectation of 18 months between xxxd models or xxd models. Any idea when we may see a 5d Mark iii ?

Well the 5D and 5DII were about 3 years apart, similar to the 1D series.

Blimey, that seems a bit sudden; we're all still getting used to the Mark II!

But on that note, any ideas on the IDs IV? Seems pointless to get the original 5D as a second body for about a grand, when this guy is presumably on the horizon as my main baby

WTF? The MkII is still wet behind the ears and you're already worried about the next model?

Get serious, and take the gear you already own out and use it. I sincerely doubt most our photographic abilities outstrip the capabilities of the equipment we already own.

I just bought a 50d, and trying to decide between the 24-70 lens or the EF-S 18-55 lens. Looks like I have at least a couple years before being tempted by a hot new FF body...
