Hi everyone! I am new to the forum and just bought my first digital SLR not to long ago so I am still learning everything about it. Just thought I would share some of the first pictures I took with it.
All comments are welcome. :)

Hi and welcome!!! First off I am no expert so these are just my opinions. I think you captured the moment in every photo very well!!! I do however find them to be soft. I'd sharpen all the photos.
1. My favorite of the bunch. In this photo I would clone out the blue in the bottom corner and lighten her skin.
2. Love her expression!! Watch for cropping off fingers and her eyes are dark.
3. She seems overexposed. Also watch for cropping of the feet.
4. Love how she is looking right at you. Her eyes are dark.
If you turn edit imaging ok on. I can show you what I would do with a couple of your photos.

These are really cute and you are off to a great start!!
Just a few hints....make sure your shutter speed is fast enough to stop motion blur. You can also put a little fill flash on to take care of excessive shadows.
I toned down the brights and added light to the shadows in your last photo and added a smidge of sharpness. Hope you don't mind but I wanted you to see how Photo Shop can fix the little details.

Ok I tried doing what you said and removing the shirt in photoshop on the 1st pic. My first time to do this so here it is.

Good job on the cloning!! I have found a lot of great PP advice here. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=18
Here is one I played with. I lighten her skin up a bit, I cloned out the blue jacket. I used the blur and smudged tool after I cloned, then add a bit of noise to the cloned area. I also sharpen the photo a bit.

Here is another one I played with. I lightened and sharpned her eyes. I also sharpened the photo a bit.

Cute shots. some seem OOF and motion blurred. Here is a couple of quick plays with them. Did a lot of levels, curves, saturation and shadow adjusting. If you want a more detailed idea of what i did, just let me know.
