Ok, here's the sp.

All indicators suggest we are in for an electric storm in the south of England tonight.
Got my tripod set, got my lens set to 18mm & got no remote control.
Has anybody on this forum managed to take piccies of lightning? if so? please let me know what camera settings you used.

BTW, will rubber help protect me from lightning strike?

BTW, will rubber help protect me from lightning strike? Depends on where you wear it! OK, so it's not helpful, but the time limit for your pics has expired so I'm feeling free to joke about it. In the future, remember that you can search. lightning would have brought up some helpful links. Hope your pics came out OK. Sorry there weren't any other replies. ;-)
