Okay... I was cruising around with my bycicle, and thought that electricity pole and sunset would turn out as a good photograph. So I adjustet the camera and made the shot. But when I came home I saw this thing - my strap is in the shot! I can't believe! After almost 5000 photos, this is something that I make for the first time! I made three shots, and the strap is present in all of them. The sad thing is - I really like the photo, despite the fact, that its a sunset shot... Just not fair... Here's the shot itself.

ARRRGH!!!!

That is horrible lol...I do the same thing...Although many times...It's a finger or a piece of my hat that gets in the way...Still a really nice picture though...Could always crop it to death...It would still be a nice composition...

BTW my photo is up if you care to check it out...although it's probably off the front page by now...

on my screen the foreground is practically black, does it look the same on your screen?

if so, the bit of strap at the lower right corner can be photoshopped out pretty easily. :)

very nice shot though!

Luckily the strap was kinda blended into the dark foreground. So it's not that noticeable. Nice sunset.

The sun will set over the power poles again. Go for another bike ride tomorrow or whenever you have dramatic clouds at sunset.

Yeah, I know.. but it's not for the shot itself... It's making a mistake, that's the problem. Any other mistake - exposure, shutter, iso.. - okay, I accept that, but.. not this!

Yes, I understand. I have done the same thing. I just have to remember what I learned. "See what the camera sees". Many times I have made that mistake and not noticed what was in the photograph. I was taking a photography class a few years back and the instructor liked to use that term. I found it to be very helpful when I remember to use it.

Better luck next time. Don’t let it get to you. :) :)

The best

Ofcourse I won't :) Still like the sunset, no matter what... It's just that it never happened to me before, that's all.

Thank you all for the comments, appreciate that!
