Took some shots of my 4 year old boy Sunday with the green trees, flowers blooming and things actually starting to look pretty. He did pretty good, wish he had a better smile but its either this or a really big "CHEESE" which isn't all that attractive. LOL
Did some PPing, adjusted light and color hues a little. I think they turned out pretty nice. Anyone?
Pictures removed: If you wish to see them, please PM me for a link.

Nicely done. I like the 2nd one best (bottom left). The sloping hill and barn in the background give the picture a fresh background. As for his smile, he'll know he had good teeth at that age :D. One suggestion... take the same shot with a blue sky. Nicely done Susanne. You have a nice little boy!!

One more thing... I love the jeans and shirt. This makes the picture more 'real'. I hated dressing up as a kid for portraits and still don't care for 'dressup' shots, especially for children. You've made my day.

Thanks Alan.
I like the barn too, I'm thrilled they're not tearing that one down also (the old barn picture I posted a while back is being torn down, I'm glad I got pictures of it before they really tore it down), it makes for a pretty backdrop I think.
Ok I'll try it again on a pretty day, it wa sa bit of a overcast in the afternoon that day. Thanks!
LOL Eli prefers Jeans and a tee also, he hates dressing up esp in the tux he had to wear last weekend for the wedding he was in, oh boy was that a fit! LOL

These are nice . . . good to see the family involved in your hobby. The first one, when you get the chance have him put his right knee up and extend the other, I guess that woud be the left. You did good with what light and direction I think.
Lets see some more.

Nice shots Sue, maybe rotate it a shade to the right so the barn doesn't look like it is falling over in the 2nd one? I really like the 2nd one. Well done.

LOL my family has been involved since I picked up a camera, the best subjects since I love to have pictures of the kids but don't want to drag them to the studio every week. ;o)
You think it would look better with his legs doing the opposite?
Thanks, I'll try some more on a blue sky day next time. Tried to take some of my girl in the same place last night, she wanted nothing to do with the camera last night. =oP

Yeah he picked it for me and didn't want to put it down so he might as well show it off, right. =o) LOL evil mommy told him only to pick the dandelions and leave my planted ones alone, one of the planted ones would have looked better but I want them in the garden. LOL
