Was asked to go take some photos of Nottingham Prison's new wing today, was an interesting trip, got some cool shots from it and got to explore a working prison!

All comments welcome!

a cold mixture of steel and concrete ... that alone is enough reason to keep one from doing stupid s**t and ending up in there.
Very nice pics !

I like the third shot a lot. The only distraction is that light across and one level up along the far wall. I keep wondering what it is. Oh well. Great shots anyway.

I like the fourth shot where you tilted the camera. All of them give the feeling of the coldness of the place and the total futility of life inside of the prison. The tilt gives just that much more exaggeration to the feeling of helplessness and despair these pics evoke. Nice work.

It's all so confining. Nice compositions though

Nice photos, but I don't even want to visit.

Thanks for the comments people! Was interesting to visit the place, certainly an experiance! The new block was a long way better than the old dank dark victorian buildings.
