View Full Version : New camera for a newbie

I'm sooooo new to photography, but I just got a new Rebel XT and it is MUCH better that than anything I've ever had before. I just had to share my joy! Here is a flower from my front yard. Any comments on what I did right/wrong? TIA

Thanks for looking....any comments on how to edit? I'm new to PS also and would welcome tips.

I don't see anything you really need to edit. If I were you though, I'd just read all the editing threads and stuff in the forum. You can learn a lot from them. Although, I'd like to see you crop the photo and leave only the flower in the top center. It's gorgeous, but the rest of the picture doesn't really impress me. That one flower is gorgeous though. Very good job, keep up the good work. You'll get better.
