Thanks, Mike

Check out this site (http://www.robgalbraith.com/bins/multi_page.asp?cid=6007) for solid information on CF cards.
My personal favorite is the SanDisk Ultra II as the most cost effective. I just bought one today at Costco for $89.99. www.NewEgg.com (http://www.NewEgg.com) also has them at reasonable prices.

I use Sandisk Ultra II as well, i'd use Lexar too if I got a good price.

I'm glad to see the Sandisk Ultra II is getting good recommendations. I just got (2) 1Gig cards from Newegg.

Thanks for the replies. I have a Lexar in my G3 that works great, and a Kingston that has never worked out of the box. I just didn't want to skimp on my card.

Sandisk have the Extreme III out, they come in the 8Gb flavour as well .

Claimed to have transfer speeds of 133x (20MB/s), if any camera is going to need the speed it's the 20D.

If you don't mind me asking, what size did you get and what did you end up paying for it?
