A spot of star gazing, this was shot in almost pitch black.
Pretty clean for iso 400 i thought, less noise than i expected.

WOW...I have never seen a sky like that before....Must be one of the perks of living in Australia...Over here we are pretty much too smogged out to be able to see much other than the brightest stars...At least on most nights...Nice picture by the way as well lol

Thanks Devoid, had to drive about 40 minutes south of Sydney to get away from all the man-made light. That's an area just outside Wollongong and was nearly pitch black.
I just love standing there in the dead silence in total darkness, just staaring up at the milky way.

Yeah the shot almost looks like a tombstone, but it's just a monument of sorts.

Yes she is certainly one of my loves, she transports me to the places i need to be to reach my other love, photography. :D
