We have a ton of deer that wander through our backyard. They eat all of my wife's plants and have become rather pesty. These shots are taken from my back deck, the deer are about 15 ft from the dog kennel. The dogs don't even wake up for them anymore. Taken with my 10D and my slightly soft Sigma 70-300.

Very nice shot, if they bug you shoot them... with your camera though ;)
Looks liek you got a nice backyard.

Funny, never heard them called that but it fits. They generally develop a taste for the most expensive plants you buy. Pretty, graceful critters though.

They are so much fun to watch that I pretty much quit hunting them with anything but a camera. I've got some video of some really nice bucks in my backyard that would curl your toes.

Good shots. Around here, we call them lawn rats.

My Black Lab was sitting by my feet when these shots were taken. Our Shelty was in the kennel sleeping, kennel door open.
