#3 from this posted thread is especially nice... However, you entire set viewed as a *slideshow* is fantastic... The opening slideshow shot is stunning, the trio is *cool*, and all comprise a great set.
I like their music, and most of their songs are really enjoyable to listen too... I nearly always turn the volume up when their songs start to play.

Really nice set. Don't have real favourites but I think I like #2 and #7 best. Only one comment, on #5. I really hate missing two (three) pair of feet in that shot ;) I'd prefer some less headroom and a few more feet ;)

They're a fun group to shoot. I've done them twice and they're coming back this year. Nice emotion on your captures, Richard.

Okay, considering most of you are pros this is probably going to seem like an illiterate question :). How do you shoot with pro (camera w/detachable lens) in the venues for large artists, any places that I've ever went to allow P&S but no Pro gear is allowed. Do you have credentials?

Jacob: in most venues the only way to get pro gear in, is to be allowed to ;)

Jacob, you've got to have at least two 1DMIII bodies and four (or more) white lenses to be allowed to shoot in large venues! [Just kidding.] But as Anouk points out, the professionals are professional, in a sense like medical doctors in that they are allowed by venues and performers based on credentials ... even professionals cannot willy-nilly walk into shows and just shoot. They must be pre-approved by both venue and performer. That approval normally means that they are working for newspapers or magazines or sometimes the venues. If you follow all/most of the threads in here you will find that occasionally even some of our most skilled professionals are disappointed to be unable to get credentials. I believe both Narlus and Blackshadow have had this occur over the past year. Have you yet read my "How I Got Into This Business" [link in my signature.]

Thank you for the informative reply Dwight. Actually, I must have overlooked that part of your signature. I'll read it right after this. I'm to young right now anyways so I'll wait a few years, I'd like to work for the local newspaper just to kind of get a feel of dealing with things like credentials and such. Gosh, I'd kill to actually work for a venue, haha. That would be pretty cool.
PS. Sorry, I didn't mean to take over the thread or anything. I love the shots of B&D. My particular favorite is #4.

Wow Dwight. What an amazing story. I could so be you right now, haha. Very uplifting, it makes me think twice about doing free work for people.
