I think i may have overdone the saturation and the selective green on this picture. After putting it in my portfolio ive had mixed comments: Some loved it and some said it looked too unnatural
To me its no more saturated than that Windows XP default desktop background...
I think its illegal to post that but most of us have windows XP go take a look

It's a nice shot, but a bit too green. Even the rock cliffs look green on my monitor.
You have a good base to work with. Re-edit it and show us what you come up with

I agree with RbnDave, I think you could go a little easier on the greens.
Nice composition.

LOVE this picture, just a bit saturated as you said. At least you live in an area that's nice to photograph ;).

Ahem i live in San Francisco. Weather like this may be 1 in 150 days
This is about 200 miles south, a bit below monterey actually
Near San Simeon---Hearst Castle---- a beautiful place to photograph, with extensive tours

this picture is great. i love the oversaturation. the entire scene is almost surreal, so why not the color? you might even want to go back to this place to shoot a panorama (you'll hear me suggest panorama a lot, i just discovered it myself)

The color saturation is fine. Back off the green. Even the bridge is green

My wife and I were out there in March, just after a rainy spell. Everything was very green. I can't totally trust my monitor, but to me it looks very much in the picture like it did when we were there. It's a nice shot. I agree . . . . a beautiful area for photography.

Thanks.
This is supposed to be a panorama...2 shots stiched, but i had to crop a lot of it. I was standing in the middle of highway 1 and there was an ugly ass chevy coming towards me.
By the way...
FIND WALDO!!!
LOL i cropped it just enough to leave Waldo in there
If you look close enough youll see waldo is carrying a 10d w/ an extended battery back [unlikely at this resolution] -- thats my dad-- gave him a kick when i showed him HE DOES LOOK LIKE wALDO

Try 3 different layers in PS. One to saturate the greens (which I like by the way). Another to saturate the blue sky, and the 3rd to saturate the ocean.
This has lots of potential, but the sky kills it for me. Find a way to make the sky pop as much as the greens and I think it will look great.

Just in terms of what is pleasing to my eye...I like it lol...I can see where people could have complaints about the "greenness" of otherwise non-green objects...Still a nice photo to me though...
